Porcelain tile is ideal for exterior applications as it will not expand or crack when in contact with the elements. When framing and building the substructure we include proprietary waterproofing systems and crack suppression membranes underneath the tiles. This ensures a complete watertight system that will last for years. Slate and natural stone are also very popular but ongoing (maintenance and sealing -2.1.2) is required to help keep these surfaces looking good year after year.
