Kirkland Project
Full Home Remodel | 1970s Home Transformation
This full-home remodel transformed a dated 1970s house in Kirkland into a bright, modern, and comfortable residence. The homeowners, recently retired and relocating to be closer to family, wanted a complete update that balanced modern amenities with the home’s original character—and they were thrilled with the final result.
The project included a brand-new kitchen, two fully remodeled bathrooms, and the addition of skylights to bring in natural light throughout the home. All electrical and plumbing systems were completely updated to meet current code requirements. During demolition, original hardwood floors were discovered beneath carpeted areas; these were carefully refinished and blended with newly installed hardwoods to create a seamless, cohesive look.
