Bathroom tile project in a modern contemporary home in the Phinney Ridge Neighborhood.
Customer had another contractor build a tiled bathroom and shower a few years back. The large walk-in shower with bench and pan was built incorrectly, and subsequently the shower pan leaked, and wall tiles also started to delaminate and become loose.
We tore down the entire shower walls and pan to the studs and sub-floor.
We rebuilt the entire shower again with a proper PVC liner, waterproofing and all other phases to build a tiled shower, pan, curb, bench and walls correctly.
One main challenge was to blend the new tiles on the shower walls and pan to match/compliment the remaining tiles throughout the bathroom.
We were able on this project, to carefully remove and set aside the heavy-duty glass shower door and fixed panel; and re-install the same unit again.
